In the Spirit of Giving

As a non-profit organization, the Performing Arts Foundation aims to support our mission which is:

To promote excellence in the performing arts in North Central Wisconsin.

To accomplish this mission, as most of your know, we bring exciting talent from across the globe to your downtown, but that’s far from all we do. We also bring in over 15,000 students from 153 schools to see live performances through our Aspirus Arts in Education Series. Over 1,000 students and community members get the opportunity to interact and learn from a professional artist through our residencies.  The Grand donates over $11,000 in tickets to area charities. Community partners have saved $90,000 in rental, ticketing, and staffing fees. Spaces at the Grand are utilized by community partners for 60 performances and a number of rehearsals beyond that.

Here at The Grand it’s the community we strive to entertain, educate, and enrich and with your help we’re able to do just that.

Interested in giving other ways?  Everyone knows there are plenty of events that happen at The Grand year-round, but most people probably aren’t aware that these events are made possible by our wonderful crew of about 150 volunteers and we’re looking for that number to grow. Our volunteers help with everything from helping in the ticket office and ushering to helping decorate for events and bar tending. If volunteering sounds like something you’d be interested in, stop by The Grand’s ticket office and pick up an application!

This Giving Tuesday we hope you’ll remember The Grand as you plan out your donations and year ahead.
