Central Wisconsin Jerry Ensemble

This premier performance group representing the Jerry Awards in Central Wisconsin features select vocal performers from schools and organizations participating in the Jerry Awards program. Students are selected to be part of the ensemble through auditions and, under the direction of Marshall DeLonay, spend each season building their technical skills in acting, singing and dancing, and performing in Wausau and across the state.

2024-2025 Central Wisconsin Jerry Ensemble Auditions

Sunday, August 18 & Monday August 19

Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 18th from 2-5PM and Monday, August 19th from 4-7PM at The Grand Theater in Wausau. Students should plan to attend either on Sunday OR Monday, and sign up for one (1) hour-long time slot. Students may also submit audition videos virtually if they are unable to audition in-person.**

  1. Prepared Piece: Students should prepare one full song in the style of musical theatre that fits and showcases their voice to perform as part of their audition. Students must audition with an instrumental backing track, which they should provide in advance either as an mp3 or a YouTube link.
  2. Assigned Piece: Students will receive an additional musical selection from Kaitlyn Konrardy via email the week prior to auditions. They should learn this selection and prepare to perform it as a part of their audition.
  3. Dance Audition: Students will also be taught a short dance combination that will be performed in a small group during each audition time slot.

** = All three parts of virtual auditions (prepared piece, assigned piece, and dance audition) must be received by 7PM on Monday, August 19th in order to be considered.
