Sponsor Spotlight: County Materials Corporation

As we kick off another fabulous season of performances here at The Grand Theater, we’d like to take the time to celebrate some of the individuals and corporations that help make all we do possible. County Materials Corporation is a long-time supporter of The Grand, and has been the series sponsor for the County Materials Spotlight Series for six seasons. We want to thank and showcase County Materials for helping us bring dozens of fantastic artists to Central Wisconsin, and for all they do for the community.

Founded in 1946, County Materials Corporation has long been recognized as a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For more than 75 years, they have worked to build a company that hardworking people are proud to work for, live near, and do business with, and create products that help build the growing communities where Americans live, work and play. Their support of The Grand and numerous other local causes show this dedication to building community, both literally and figuratively!

“County Materials invests in our communities through the Sonnentag American Foundation. The Our Foundation supports more than 60 nonprofit organizations and causes in the communities where the County Materials family of companies has locations.”

-Rebecca Sonnentag, County Materials Corporation

Headquartered in Marathon, WI, County Materials employs thousands of people in 40 locations across 6 states. With a vision of SUCCESS (succeeding as a manufacturing leader), STABILITY (offering reliable employment, competitive wages and benefits, and rewarding careers), and SUPPORT (supporting local communities and empowering and inspiring the people in within them), we are glad that County Materials calls Central Wisconsin home.

“County Materials has actively supported the greater Wausau community since we were founded in 1946. We are proud to partner with the Grand Theater and help bring exceptionally talented musicians and performers to Central Wisconsin. County Materials employs 2,000 dedicated people who manufacture and deliver sustainable concrete construction products for infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. The work we do, the jobs we create, and the partnerships we foster drive our local economy and enhance the vibrancy of the Central Wisconsin landscape.”

We at The Grand Theater cherish our partnership with County Materials, as it help us enhance the quality of life in our region through world-class performing arts experiences. This year’s County Materials Spotlight Series features: The Hit Men: The Ultimate Rock Concert, Johnny Cash – The Official Concert Experience, MJ Live, The Barricade Boys, Classic Albums Live: Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, One Vision of Queen Featuring Marc Martel, and The Texas Tenors.

“In addition to the work of our staff, board, and volunteers, it takes the support of our 41 sponsors to make magic happen at The Grand. Thank you to County Materials for their longstanding support in helping us make our community a more exciting and joyful place to live.”
