Meet the Judges

We are excited to introduce the judges for Friday night’s Big Gig!

 

Glen Moberg — WPR

Glen Moberg, Distinguished Broadcasting Specialist with Wisconsin Public Radio, is an anchor and reporter based in Wausau. His 47 year career in broadcast journalism includes work at both WSAW-TV and WAOW-TV in Wausau, and WFLD-TV Fox News in Chicago. He is a singer songwriter and a blues guitarist who performs regularly in central Wisconsin. He and his wife Mary Beth own The Northwoods Goldsmith, a fine jewelry store in downtown Wausau.

Tammy Stezenski — The City Pages

Tammy Stezenski is the publisher and editor of City Pages, Wausau’s news and entertainment weekly paper. City Pages created the Wednesday Concerts on the Square in 1994 (originally “in the Park”) and Tammy has booked the lineup every year since then. A violin player since age 8, Tammy was the concertmaster for her high school orchestra, played in college, and even performed a few ensemble gigs for money. She is married, with two boys, age 14 and 11.

Laura Schulte — Wausau Daily Herald

Laura Schulte is the Going Out reporter for the Daily Herald and the newsroom’s resident music lover. She loves spending all the time that she can covering the local entertainment scene, especially live music. She enjoys the abundance of local talent in and around Wausau and you can find her checking out live shows almost every weekend.
