The TEN Tenors to Host Master Class at UW-Stevens Point at Wausau

Australian vocal group The TEN Tenors will host a master class with University of Stevens Point music students at the Wausau campus ahead of their performance at The Grand Theater on Tuesday, October 30.

Part of The Grand’s Community Engagement Series, this event will provide an opportunity for university students from both the Wausau and Stevens Point campuses to meet, perform for, and be critiqued by the talented and accomplished vocalists of The TEN Tenors. The master class will be held Tuesday afternoon at the UW Center for Civic Engagement.

The TEN Tenors will facilitate this workshop just hours before they kick off their North American Tour at The Grand Theater. The group will spend all day Monday and Tuesday morning running technical and dress rehearsals for the Wish You Were Here tour, a multimedia musical tribute to artists who have left us too soon. Audiences can hear ten of Australia’s finest vocalists perform the hits of Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Prince, John Lennon, Amy Winehouse, and many more at The Grand Theater at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 30.

This master class and performance are both supported by the Arts Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Crane Group.
